Phou Hinboun National Protected Area encompasses 1,500 square kilometers of the Annamite Range, defined by jagged limestone karsts and the 7.5-kilometer Tham Kong Lor subterranean river. The region features the Hin Boun River, which navigates through massive cave systems and ancient monsoon forests.
