This UNESCO World Heritage site features the Curonian Spit’s diverse landscape, from the shifting 'dead' dunes of the Nagliai Nature Reserve to the forested Vecekrugas Dune, the highest point on the spit. Cultural landmarks include the Hill of Witches' wooden sculpture gallery and the former summer home of Nobel Prize winner Thomas Mann. Maritime history is preserved at the Lithuanian Sea Museum, housed in a 19th-century fort, and across the historic lighthouses of Nida and Pervalka.

Black Ghost Statue
This bronze statue was made by two Lithuanian artists, Svajunas Jurkus and Sergejus Plotnikovas.

Also known as the Grey Dunes, these shifting sands reach heights of 60 meters and preserve the history of villages buried by sand over several centuries.
