Szklarska Poręba is a major center for granite climbing in the Karkonosze Mountains. This collection features established sectors like Krucze Skały and Krzywe Baszty, which provide bolted routes ranging from beginner slabs to technical overhangs. The local granite offers high-friction surfaces and diverse features including cracks, chimneys, and face climbing. Formations are located both along the high-altitude Silesian Ridge at 1,200 meters and within the forested areas easily accessible from the town center.
