Tajikistan’s high-altitude landscape is defined by the Pamir and Fann mountain ranges, containing some of the highest summits in the former Soviet Union. This collection features legendary 7,000-meter peaks like Lenin Peak and Peak Korzhenevskaya, alongside the Ak-Baital Pass, the highest point on the Pamir Highway at 4,655 meters. These geological landmarks include the rugged granite walls of the Shakhdara Range and the glacial systems of the Peter I Range, serving as critical technical challenges for mountaineers and remote transit routes across Central Asia.
