A sad reminder of Nuremberg's past and a breath-taking historical monument, this complex used to host Nazi rallies during the Second World War.
The gargantuan complex spans over more than 11 square kilometres. Its construction took place in the 1930s, starting after Hitler proclaimed Nuremberg to be the "City of Nazi Party Rallies." The rally grounds only hosted six rallies altogether.
