A Coruña Parks and Gardens

A Coruña’s green spaces range from historic 14th-century fortifications to modern coastal sculpture parks. This collection includes the Xardíns de San Carlos, housing the tomb of Sir John Moore, and the expansive Monte de San Pedro with its preserved military batteries and panoramic views. Visitors can explore the 19th-century botanical variety of Méndez Núñez or the mythologically inspired sculptures surrounding the Tower of Hercules. Many parks, such as Paseo das Pontes, also preserve local history through features like stone aqueducts.
