Natural Wonders

Albania’s landscape features diverse geological formations, from the karst springs of the Blue Eye in the south to the 2,694-meter limestone peak of Jezercë in the Accursed Mountains. This selection includes Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans, and the Bovilla reservoir, which provides Tirana's primary water supply. Notable sites include the 30-meter Grunas Waterfall in Theth National Park and the Vivari Channel, a strategic waterway connecting the Butrint archaeological site to the Straits of Corfu.
