Nature and Mountains

Alborz Province features diverse terrain ranging from the 3,964-meter Tochal peak and its adjacent ski resort to numerous seasonal waterfalls in the Central Alborz range. This selection includes the multi-tiered Haft Cheshmeh Falls, the high-altitude Khor Waterfall, and the winter ice formations of Sangan. Complementing these natural landmarks are local recreation areas such as Afra Mahdasht Park and the Shokufeh Ha family garden.

Tochal

Tochal, is a mountain and ski resort located on the Alborz mountain range, adjacent to the metropolitan area of Tehran in northern Iran.

Abshar hft chshmh

Located near Arangeh village on the Karaj-Chalus road, this site features a series of small cascades leading to a primary 90-meter waterfall.

Khor Waterfall

A 50-meter waterfall situated near Khor village at an altitude of 2,800 meters, frequently used for ice climbing during winter.

Senj Waterfall

Natural waterfall located near the mountain village of Senj in Savojbolagh County.

A high-volume waterfall located in the Taleqan region, set within a narrow rocky canyon.

Located near Sangan village, this waterfall is known for the massive ice stalagmite that forms at its base during the winter months.

Bazarak

A peak in the Tochal mountain range with an elevation of approximately 3,758 meters, positioned east of the Shah Nesheen summit.
