Big Almaty Lake

High-altitude reservoir situated 2,511 meters above sea level within the Ile-Alatau National Park. It serves as a primary source of drinking water for Almaty and is known for its shifting turquoise and emerald hues.

Glaciologiceskaa stancia T-1 (Tuuksu)

Scientific glaciological station located at 3,400 meters near the Tuyuksu glacier. It is used for monitoring glacial movement, snow cover, and regional climate data.
