Peaks and Viewpoints

Antioquia’s topography is defined by the Central and Western Cordilleras of the Andes. This collection spans from Medellín’s Cerro El Volador—the city's largest natural park and a significant archaeological site—to the high-altitude Farallones de Citará on the border with Chocó. It includes Cerro Bravo, a prominent volcanic dome near Fredonia, and Alto Paramillo, a key peak within the Paramillo National Natural Park, representing the diverse high-altitude ecosystems and rugged terrain of the region.
