Iconic Southern Alps Peaks

This collection features the most prominent summits of New Zealand’s Southern Alps, centered within the glaciated terrain of Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park. It includes the country's three highest peaks—Aoraki, Mount Tasman, and Mount Dampier—alongside the technical Malte-Brun Range situated between the Tasman and Murchison Glaciers. The list also highlights Mount Ollivier, noted as Sir Edmund Hillary’s first major alpine ascent, and the Copland Pass, a significant high-altitude crossing that links the eastern alpine region to the West Coast.
