Arcachon's coastline features diverse sandy beaches along the Bassin d'Arcachon, ranging from the central town piers to the pine-fringed outskirts. These beaches are characterized by calm waters and significant tidal shifts. Key features include the three-kilometer promenade at Péreire, views of the Dune du Pilat from Le Moulleau, and the central hub of Plage Thiers, which serves as the primary departure point for maritime shuttles crossing the bay.

Plage Péreire

Features a three-kilometer pedestrian promenade and maritime pine forest. Offers direct views across the water to the Cap Ferret peninsula.

Plage des Abatilles

A residential area beach located between Péreire and Moulleau, known for its calmer atmosphere and proximity to the Abatilles mineral spring.

Plage du Moulleau
