Hiking and Peaks

The Bjelasica mountain range within Biogradska Gora National Park features a distinct volcanic landscape characterized by rounded peaks and lush pastures. This selection includes the massif's highest point, Crna Glava, and Zekova glava, which overlooks several glacial lakes. These trails connect key geological landmarks, including ridges overlooking the park's ancient primeval forest and the high-altitude 'mountain eyes' lakes.

Crna Glava

The highest peak of the Bjelasica massif at 2,139 meters, situated above Ursulovačko and Pešića lakes.

Crvena greda

A limestone ridge offering views across the western slopes of the national park.

Troglava

Rising to 2,072 meters, this peak overlooks the Kolašin ski fields and provides a central vantage point over the Biogradska Gora basin.

Zekova glava

Reaching 2,117 meters, this summit is marked by a prominent telecommunications tower and sits directly above the glacial Pešića Lake.

Donji Lumer

A peak on the western edge of the Bjelasica range.

Jagančarske rupe

A peak located near the central ridge of Bjelasica, characterized by karst depressions and high-altitude pastures.

Lastra

A rocky outcrop and peak situated along the hiking route between Biogradsko Lake and the higher summits.

Jusin brijeg

A summit located in the central part of the massif, providing views of the Biogradska River valley.

Crna glavica

A peak located near the main ridge leading toward the massif's highest point.

Ravni jeljak

A peak on the northwestern side of the range, bordering the protected forest zones.

Ogorela glava

A 1,988-meter peak situated between the Kolašin ski area and the central Biogradska Gora ridges.

A peak located along the ridge overlooking the Tara River canyon and the western Bjelasica slopes.
