Bryce Canyon Viewpoints

Bryce Canyon National Park’s high-altitude rim offers a series of overlooks showcasing the world's largest concentration of hoodoos. These viewpoints range from the 9,115-foot elevation at Rainbow Point to the dense spire formations of the Bryce Amphitheater seen from Inspiration and Sunset Points. The overlooks reveal the distinct layers of the Grand Staircase, including the Pink Cliffs of the Claron Formation, and provide access to major trailheads like the Navajo Loop and Fairyland Loop.

Fairview Point is a point or headland on the west side of Kaien Island on the North Coast of British Columbia, Canada.

Sunrise Point

Overlooks the Bryce Amphitheater with clear views of the Silent City and the iconic Thor’s Hammer spire. It serves as a trailhead for the Queen’s Garden Trail.

Rainbow Point D

Rainbow Point

The highest elevation in the park at 9,115 feet, offering a northward view across the canyon rim and the colorful layers of the Grand Staircase.

Located at the highest point of the park, this overlook provides panoramic views of the Pink Cliffs and the southern end of the Paunsaugunt Plateau.

Located at the northern end of the park, this overlook features younger hoodoos and serves as the starting point for the 8-mile Fairyland Loop trail.

Facing south to catch the afternoon sun, this point offers views of the Paria River valley and the White Cliffs. It is a prime location for viewing nesting peregrine falcons.

Upper Inspiration Point

Provides the highest perspective of the Bryce Amphitheater’s dense hoodoo clusters. The site features three tiered viewing platforms accessible via a steep paved path.

One of the southernmost overlooks, offering views of the sequence of colorful cliffs known as the Grand Staircase, including the Vermilion and White Cliffs.

Natural Bridge Overlook

Features a 125-foot natural arch carved from red Claron Formation limestone, framed by the green of the surrounding Ponderosa pine forest.

Agua Canyon Overlook

Showcases two distinct hoodoos known as The Hunter and The Rabbit, set against the backdrop of the southern park plateau and the distant Navajo Mountain.

Sunset Point L

Sunset Point

Overlooks the most densely packed hoodoos in the park, including the Silent City. It provides direct access to the Navajo Loop and Wall Street trails.
