Best Beaches

Budva's coastline features diverse shores ranging from the expansive sands of Jaz and Bečići to secluded coves like Mogren. The region includes the iconic Sveti Stefan peninsula, where pink-pebbled beaches face a 15th-century fortified village. Visitors can find dedicated nudist areas at FKK Jaz, long promenades along Slovenska plaža, and the relatively undeveloped 2.2-kilometer stretch of Buljarica. Most sites offer a mix of public areas and serviced sections with sunloungers and cafes.

Sveti Stefan

A pink-pebbled shoreline connected to the historic island-hotel by a narrow causeway. The beach is divided into a public southern section and a private northern section reserved for resort guests.

FKK Jaz

A designated clothing-optional beach situated at the western end of the larger Jaz bay, shielded by steep cliffs and natural rock formations.

Mogren

Two sandy beaches connected by a small tunnel through the cliffs. Located near Budva's Old Town, the area is accessible via a scenic coastal path.

Jaz Beach

Jaz is a beach in the Budva Municipality in Montenegro. It is located 2.5 km west of central Budva.

Kamenovo

A 330-meter stretch of sand and pebbles located between Bečići and Pržno. It is known for its turquoise waters and west-facing orientation that provides late evening sun.

Free Town Beach

The easternmost portion of the Bečići coastline, situated in front of the Rafailovići settlement. It offers a mix of sandy and rocky areas with direct access to local seafood restaurants.

Slovenska plaža

Budva's main city beach, extending 1.6 kilometers from the city harbor to Bečići. It is lined with a busy promenade featuring restaurants, bars, and sports facilities.

Buljarica

One of the longest beaches on the Montenegrin coast, stretching over 2 kilometers. This bay remains largely undeveloped compared to Budva’s central beaches, featuring a mix of pebbles and sand.

Bečićka plaža

A wide, 2-kilometer sandy beach that received the "Grand Prix" in Paris in 1935 as the most beautiful beach in Europe. It features a gentle entrance to the sea and a long seaside promenade.
