Rebuilt in 1726 by Manuel de Lara Churriguera, this Baroque arch is the main entrance to the walled city. Its slanted design was specifically engineered to allow horse-drawn carriages to navigate the narrow turn.

This 15th-century Gothic house is named for the small monkey sculpture located on its interior staircase. The building features a distinctive brick facade and a small central courtyard.

Arco de Santa Ana

An 18th-century gate built into the medieval walls. It replaced an earlier postern gate to provide a direct link between the Plaza Mayor and the old Jewish Quarter.
