Canillo Essentials
Canillo serves as Andorra’s cultural and spiritual center, home to the Basilica Sanctuary of Meritxell and several Romanesque churches like Sant Joan de Caselles, known for its 12th-century murals. The landscape features the glacial Incles Valley and the dramatic Roc de Quer viewpoint, which extends over a 500-meter drop. Outdoor activities center on the Grandvalira ski sector, the Palau de Gel ice rink, and natural landmarks such as the Cascada de les Moles and Toll Bullidor waterfalls.
Mirador Roc de Quer
A 20-meter panoramic walkway with a 12-meter suspended section over a 500-meter drop. The platform features the 'Self-Thinking' sculpture by Jordi Díez and overlooks the Montaup and Valira d’Orient valleys.
