A high-altitude emergency shelter at 3,850 meters on the Brouillard Ridge. Also known as Bivacco Eccles, this red metal structure serves climbers tackling the Innominata Ridge and the Brouillard pillars of Mont Blanc.

Bivacco Giusto Gervasutti al Fréboudze

A futuristic, solar-powered bivouac suspended at 2,835 meters on the Fréboudze Glacier. Built in 2011, the tube-shaped structure provides a base for routes on the East Face of the Grandes Jorasses.

Quintino Sella Hut

The Quintino Sella Hut is a very remote bivouac hut in the Mont Blanc massif of the Alps in Aosta Valley, Italy.

Bivacco Adolfo Hess

Located at 2,324 meters in the Estellette basin of Val Veny, this small wooden and tin shelter serves climbers on the Aiguille des Glaciers and the Lex Blanche. It is maintained by the Club Alpino Accademico Italiano.
