Historic Churches and Chapels

Dalarna is home to a diverse array of ecclesiastical architecture, ranging from medieval stone structures like Hedemora and Torsång to unique wooden mountain chapels in the Sälenfjällen region. Many of these sites, such as Mora and Orsa, serve as central landmarks within the Diocese of Västerås.
