Delft's Museums and Galleries

Delft’s cultural landscape is defined by its world-famous ceramics and Golden Age artistry. This collection features Royal Delft, the sole surviving 17th-century factory for hand-painted Delft Blue pottery, and the Vermeer Centre, which examines the life and techniques of the city’s most famous painter. History is preserved at the Prinsenhof, the site of William of Orange's assassination, and the Tabaks Historisch Museum, which tracks the regional tobacco trade.
