Delhi's Museums and Galleries

Delhi’s museums document India’s vast history, from the ancient artifacts housed in the National Museum to contemporary private collections at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art. Visitors can explore the personal legacies of national leaders at Gandhi Smriti and the Indira Gandhi Memorial, or discover specialized heritage at the National Rail Museum and the Air Force Museum. For unique cultural insights, the Sulabh International Museum of Toilets focuses on sanitation history, while the Malliah Memorial Theatre Craft Museum displays traditional puppets and masks from across the country.
