Edinburgh’s skyline is defined by its dramatic volcanic topography and Victorian architectural landmarks. Arthur's Seat, the highest point in Holyrood Park, provides a rugged vantage point over the city and the Firth of Forth. Calton Hill, a UNESCO World Heritage site, hosts the commemorative Nelson and Dugald Stewart monuments. Centrally, the 61-meter-tall Scott Monument offers a Gothic perspective of the New Town, while the 19th-century North Bridge connects historic districts with elevated views of the railway valley and medieval Old Town.
