Feld am See is a small village on the Brennsee, a small lake in the Nock Mountains of Carinthia, close to the larger Afritzer See and Bad Kleinkirchheim. It is a quiet lake and mountain village with a family feel.

It is a calm base for swimming, walking and cycling, with the Biosphere Reserve of the Nock Mountains close by.

June to September is best for swimming and hiking. The lakes are warm in July and August. Autumn is good for walking. Winter has small slopes and the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area is close.
