Beaches and Piers

This collection highlights Florida’s coastal heritage and shorelines. It includes the 1825 Key West Lighthouse, a 65-foot historic tower, and the Gasparilla Island Lighthouse in Boca Grande. Smathers Beach offers a half-mile of sandy shoreline with public facilities. In Clearwater, the 1,080-foot Pier 60 features a bait house and pavilions, while the adjacent Clearwater Beach is characterized by its white quartz sand and Gulf of Mexico views.
