Freetown’s western coastline features a mix of recreational beaches and essential maritime transport hubs. Lumley Beach provides a long stretch of white sand along the Aberdeen-Lumley road, serving as a central hub for dining and leisure. Further south, Levuma Beach offers a quieter coastal stretch. The Cape Light House Jetty sits near the historic 19th-century lighthouse, while the Sea Coach Jetty acts as a primary terminal for water taxi services connecting the city to Lungi International Airport.
