Fuerteventura's Absolute Essentials

Barranco Encantado o de los Enamorados

Fossilized sand dunes carved by erosion into smooth, wave-like shapes. This ravine near La Oliva features prehistoric sandstone formations and archaeological remains.

Popcorn Beach

More of a scenic view than a beach, because of the very strong currents. The road here is harsh, but rewarding, with many stunning vistas.
