Wilderness Huts & Shelters

This collection features rustic accommodations within the Réserve faunique de Matane and Parc national de la Gaspésie. These remote sites range from enclosed wilderness huts equipped with wood-burning stoves to basic three-sided lean-to shelters. Situated primarily along the International Appalachian Trail (SIA), these structures provide essential cover for hikers navigating the rugged terrain of the Chic-Choc and McGerrigle Mountains. Most locations are managed by SÉPAQ and require advance reservations and access fees.
