Holon's Cultural Highlights

Holon has evolved from a quiet suburb into Israel's hub for design and youth culture. This selection features the Ron Arad-designed Design Museum Holon, known for its distinctive weathered steel ribbons, and the unique Gan Sipur installations where Hebrew children's literature is brought to life through sculpture. The city’s cultural landscape is further defined by the Puppet Theater Center’s specialized museum and the Mediteck complex, which integrates performance arts with extensive educational facilities.

Design Museum Holon

Designed by architect Ron Arad, this museum is defined by five winding bands of weathered steel. It hosts rotating international exhibitions focusing on industrial, textile, and fashion design within its two main galleries and laboratory space.

Gan Sipur

A series of urban parks featuring environmental sculptures based on classic Hebrew children's literature. These installations transform public green spaces into interactive narrative environments designed by various Israeli artists.
