Natural Wonders

The Ionian Islands feature diverse geological formations, from the subterranean Melissani Lake in Kefalonia to the 906-meter peak of Mount Pantokrator in Corfu. This selection includes the Dimosari Waterfalls in Lefkada, the WWII submarine hideout of Papanikolis Cave on Meganisi, and the Korission Lagoon’s protected wetlands. Cape Drastis

Dramatic white limestone cliffs and rock formations located at the northernmost point of Corfu. Accessible via a steep walking path or by boat from nearby Sidari.

Series of sea caves located on the southwestern coast of Zakynthos. Accessible only by boat, the area features limestone arches and deep turquoise waters.

Pantokrator

Mount Pantokrator is a mountain located in north-eastern Corfu. At 906 metres, it is the highest mountain on the island.

Located on Ithaca and identified in Homeric legend as the place where Odysseus hid gifts from the Phaeacians. Features two distinct entrances.

Blue Cave

Large sea cave on the western coast of Paxos, accessible only by boat. Characterized by high limestone arches and clear, deep blue waters.
