Kakheti’s landscape is defined by medieval fortifications that once guarded Georgia’s eastern frontier. This collection highlights the 16th-century Gremi complex, the royal residence of Kakhetian kings, and the remote Keselo towers of Tusheti. Key sites include the 10th-century Kvetera church-fortress and Khornabuji, a "city-castle" integrated into limestone cliffs.
