Parks & Gardens
This collection highlights the core of the UNESCO-listed Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape. It features the formal 19th-century French garden and the extensive English landscape park surrounding Lednice Castle. The list covers the series of artificial ponds—Zámecký, Mlýnský, and Prostřední—originally designed by the Liechtenstein family for fish farming and aesthetic appeal. These waterways and the Stará Dyje riverbed form a vital habitat for water birds and rare plant species within the South Moravian floodplain.
Zámecká zahrada

Zámecký park
Large English-style landscape park featuring a 60-meter-high Minaret, the artificial ruins of Janův hrad, and numerous rare tree species.
Zámecký rybník
Artificial pond containing 15 islands created for bird nesting and landscape aesthetics.
Mlýnský rybník
Large pond part of the Lednice Ponds National Nature Reserve, featuring the Empire-style Apollo Temple on its northern shore.
Prostřední rybník
Central pond in the Lednice system, situated between the Apollo Temple and the Temple of the Three Graces.
Růžový rybník
Smaller pond located within the castle's landscape park system.
Stará Dyje
A branch of the Dyje River flowing through floodplain forests, used for boat excursions between the castle and the Minaret.
