Viewpoints and Nature Wonders

This selection highlights specific natural features in Lower Austria: observation towers and warter providing panoramic views, prominent peaks such as Schneeberg, Ötscher and Gemeindealpe, showcaves like the Hermannshöhle and Einödhöhle, alpine huts and mountain protection houses, lake basins including Erlaufsee, and waterfalls and gorges such as Ludwigfall and Trefflingfall. Entries note location, elevation or geological/architectural character where available.
