New Caledonia’s diverse geography ranges from the iconic heart-shaped mangroves of Voh to the iron-rich red landscapes of the Great South. This collection features the limestone caverns of the Isle of Pines, the 'Drowned Forest' of the Blue River Provincial Park, and the dramatic Tao Waterfall on Mount Panié. These sites showcase the archipelago's unique geological formations, including the Lindéralique limestone cliffs and coastal viewpoints overlooking one of the world’s largest lagoons.

Large limestone cavern on the Isle of Pines featuring stalactites and a lush garden entrance. It served as a refuge for Queen Hortense in 1855 during inter-tribal conflicts.

Cascade de Colnett

Multi-tiered waterfall on the northeast coast with granite rock basins suitable for swimming. It is easily accessible via a short trail from the coastal road.

Vue du Pic Monnier

Elevated viewpoint near Sarraméa offering panoramas of the central mountain range and the lagoon. The peak is reached via hiking trails through humid forest terrain.

Overlooks the Gouaro Deva domain and the Poé lagoon. This vantage point provides clear views of the coral reef and the rolling hills of the west coast.

Cascade de Bâ

Waterfall near Houaïlou that drops into a deep natural swimming hole. The site is surrounded by dense tropical vegetation and is a popular local swimming spot.

Limestone cave system near Poya featuring impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and underground galleries carved by water over centuries.

Excursion Bota-méré (point de vue 360)

A 360-degree viewpoint in Thio providing vistas of the Thio River valley, the surrounding nickel mines, and the coastline.

Rivière Bleue

Located within the Blue River Provincial Park, this area features the 'Drowned Forest' of dead oak trees and serves as a habitat for the endemic Cagou bird.

A waterfall in the Yaté region characterized by the rugged, rocky terrain of the South. It is accessible via the main road toward the Yaté Dam.
