Cappella della Madonna di Vitaleta
A secluded rural chapel located between Pienza and San Quirico d’Orcia. Rebuilt in 1884 by architect Giuseppe Partini, the stone structure features a late-Renaissance style facade and is famously framed by rows of cypress trees.
Pieve dei Santi Leonardo e Cristoforo
A 13th-century Gothic-style church in the village of Monticchiello. It houses significant 14th and 15th-century frescoes of the Sienese school, including a notable depiction of Saint Christopher and works attributed to the circle of Pietro Lorenzetti.
