Porto Seguro’s coastline spans diverse environments, from the bustling entertainment complexes of Taperapuã to the remote, car-free village of Caraíva. The region is defined by coral reefs that form natural pools at low tide, vibrant red and ochre cliffs in Arraial d’Ajuda, and the convergence of several rivers with the Atlantic Ocean. Key features include the mirror-like reflections at Praia do Espelho and the mangrove-lined estuaries of Trancoso.
