Historical Monuments

Seville's architectural history spans centuries, from the UNESCO-listed Gothic cathedral and the Moorish Giralda bell tower to the 13th-century Gold Tower. The city’s development is reflected in the Renaissance-style Plaza de España and the historic Santa Cruz Jewish quarter. Along the Guadalquivir River, a series of landmarks—including the 19th-century Isabel II metal arch bridge and Santiago Calatrava’s modern Alamillo Bridge—connect the historic center to the Triana district and the 1992 Universal Exposition site.
