Historic Churches and Cemeteries
Sighișoara's religious landscape reflects centuries of multi-ethnic coexistence, featuring a mix of Saxon Lutheran, Romanian Orthodox, and Catholic architecture. The collection includes the 14th-century Gothic Hill Church, known for its rare frescoes and underground crypt, alongside the neo-Byzantine Holy Trinity Cathedral on the Târnava River. Catedrala Romano-Catolică Sf. Iosif

Holy Trinity Church
Constructed between 1934 and 1937 in neo-Byzantine style, this cathedral stands on the northern bank of the Târnava Mare River. It is characterized by its striking white facade and black domes.
