Swansea Essentials

Swansea combines a rich industrial and maritime heritage with the natural landscapes of the Gower Peninsula, the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The city center features the 12th-century Swansea Castle and the National Waterfront Museum, detailing Wales's industrial past. Along the coast, the Mumbles area offers the 18th-century Mumbles Lighthouse and Oystermouth Castle, while further west, Rhossili Bay and Three Cliffs Bay provide expansive sandy beaches and dramatic limestone cliffs.
