Religious Heritage

St. George's religious landscape is anchored by the historic St. Peter's Church, established in 1612 as the oldest Anglican site in continuous use in the New World. The town features significant architectural contrasts, from the skeletal Gothic Revival arches of the Unfinished Church to the traditional stone masonry of the Richard Allen AME Church and Stella Maris Parish.
