Traunviertel's Unmissable Treasures
Traunviertel encompasses the UNESCO World Heritage region of Hallstatt-Dachstein, featuring the world's oldest salt mine and the high-altitude 5 Fingers viewing platform. The area's history is preserved at the Imperial Villa in Bad Ischl, the former summer residence of Emperor Franz Joseph I, and the medieval Ort Castle on Traunsee.
