Sacred Heritage

Val-d'Isère's religious heritage is anchored by the 17th-century Église Saint-Bernard de Menthon, a Baroque landmark featuring a distinctive tall bell tower. Beyond the village center, a network of historic chapels and oratories dots the valley's hamlets, including Le Fornet, La Daille, and Le Laisinant. These structures, such as the high-altitude Chapelle Notre-Dame de l'Iseran and the 17th-century Chapelle Notre-Dame des Neiges, reflect the spiritual history and traditional Savoyard architecture of this Alpine region.
