Varenna’s waterfront is defined by a network of stone-paved squares and scenic pathways along Lake Como. This route includes the Passerella degli Innamorati, a red metal walkway suspended over the water, and the extensive botanical gardens of Villa Monastero, which stretch nearly two kilometers. Historic centers like Piazza San Giorgio feature medieval architecture, while the local marinas provide access to the lake's ferry network and traditional boat moorings.
