Outdoor Recreation in Žilina

Žilina offers a diverse range of recreational spaces, from the historic Budatín Park at the confluence of the Váh and Kysuca rivers to the 9-kilometer skating loop around the Vodné dielo reservoir. Hikers can access the limestone peaks of Brodnianka and Straník, the latter being a prominent regional center for paragliding.
