Archaeological Sites in Birżebbuġa
Birżebbuġa contains a high concentration of Malta's earliest historical remains. Għar Dalam Cave holds fossils of Ice Age dwarf elephants and hippopotami alongside evidence of the island's first human inhabitants from 5,200 BC.
