Vize

Vize is a town and district of Kırklareli Province in the Marmara region of Turkey. District's governor is Elif Canan Tuncer, and the mayor is Ercan Özalp. In 2010 the population of the town was 12,196 and the district 29,153. According to Turkish Statistical Institute 2020 data, the population of the town was 14,990 and the district 28.606. The town's distance to the province center is 56 km. Vize is situated on the state road D.020, which runs from Istanbul to Edirne through Kırklareli. Vize is also one of the first districts in Turkey to be certified as Cittaslow.
