Saturnia Hot Springs

These natural thermal waterfalls are characterized by a series of cascading limestone pools formed by mineral-rich waters. A hydrothermal spring feeds the site with sulphurous geothermal water that remains at a constant temperature of approximately 37.5°C.

The site holds significant historical value, having been utilized for its balneotherapeutic properties since the Etruscan-Roman era. The therapeutic qualities of the water have been recognized for centuries.

Access to the waterfalls and the natural pools is free and open to the public. The area is defined by its suggestive natural formations and a continuous hydrothermal flow.
