This collection traverses the rugged Carnic and Julian Alps, spanning the borders of Italy, Austria, and Slovenia. These high-altitude routes include the Mangart Saddle, the highest road in Slovenia reaching 2,072 meters, and the Plöcken Pass, a historic crossing used since Roman times.
