Scenic Viewpoints

Hiroshima's diverse landscape offers viewpoints ranging from the 535-meter sacred summit of Mt. Misen on Miyajima to the naval heritage sites of Kure. The region features the Setonaikai National Park's Mt. Noro and the historic hills of Kure, where visitors can oversee active shipyards and old navy arsenals. In inland Miyoshi, the Takadaniyama Observation Deck provides views of the 'sea of clouds' phenomenon that settles over the city basin during autumn and winter mornings.
