Hualaihué Essentials

Hualaihué serves as the northern entry point to the Carretera Austral, where the Andes meet the Pacific fjords. This selection features the temperate rainforests of Hornopirén and Pumalín National Parks, home to ancient Alerce trees and glacial lakes like Lago Cabrera. The list includes the Humedal de Cuchildeo, a critical site for migratory birdwatching, and the traditional wooden architecture of Capilla de San Pedro.
