Kolkata’s recreational landscape blends colonial-era sporting traditions with modern riverside parks. This selection features the Royal Calcutta Golf Club, the oldest outside Great Britain, and the historic South Club, a premier hub for Indian tennis. The Tollygunge Club, popularly called Tolly Club, is a country club in India, located in Tollygunge in south Kolkata.
East Bengal Ground
The East Bengal Ground, also known as East Bengal–Aryan Ground, is the home stadium of East Bengal and Aryan.
Royal Calcutta Golf Club
Established in 1829, this is the oldest golf club in the world outside the United Kingdom. It features an 18-hole course and received its Royal title from King George V in 1911.
South Club
Founded in 1920, this premier tennis facility is known as the cradle of Indian tennis. It has hosted numerous Davis Cup matches and features grass, clay, and synthetic courts.
Millennium Park Gate 1
A landscaped urban park situated along the Hooghly River on Strand Road. It provides views of the Howrah Bridge and features walking paths, sculptures, and a food court.
Dinosaur Park
Located within the Science City complex, this themed attraction features life-sized animatronic dinosaur models and educational displays regarding the Mesozoic Era.
